Do you feel safe around him? This seems like the normal husband abuse thing, but it mgiht not be. Try talking to him about not drinking, at all. Has it just been recently that he has started drinking? If it was, think of a reason he might have started. The best thing for now if this keeps happening is to get away from him. Even if you love him, you need to be safe. But do try and talk to him, either over the phone (which I find easier) or face o face if you are sure he is sober. I hope this helps.
