Getting hurt is inevitable. But don't worry. If you really like him, live in the moment. (Ok, cheesy, I know) I'm sorta the same way. Guys ask me out, but I never say yes because I don't want ot let anyone get too close to me. This guy you're talking about,it sounds like you really love him. That's always hard if you two break up, but at least you can know that you were happy for a time. He might not hurt you though.
