Both my brother, who is 3 years younger than me, and my father were involved in a severe car accident about a week ago. My father broke his ankle and suffered from a mild concussion. My brother winded up in a coma with a severe head trauma and a broken arm. Both my mother and I are very worried that my brother will not make it within months, having said that coma make even half a decade to subside. I am worried sick. My father is about to be released from the hospital because he is already recovered (well, except for his ankle, but you know how long a broken bone heals), but my brother is showing no signs of recovery and I am afraid that he will pass on. What am I to do? My brother and I are very close, and we always talk and help each other. I am 17 and a senior in high school, and my brother is 14 and a freshman. Looks like all I can do is pray that this will end. My family is very worried, and my mother and I are doing everything we can to end this. How do I deal with this? Please doc. I need some pointers.
