Your family condition is as tough is as it gets. Your father appears to be schizophrenic. Medication might help, but there is no guarantee that he will ever be normal again if he has progressed severely. It also appears that it runs in the family on his side. As far as your immediate family, I suggest that you all find a church near you and get involved. Many churches will support your family and help them through these tough times. If possible, seek professional counseling. Your family is in need of support and guidance. So finding this is important. These are the first steps you need to do. Coping with such tragedy is tough. You might want to explore our New Thought and Emotional Literacy pages to learn techniques to cope. I will pray for you and your family.
