William Marts is the
creator and founder of The Imagination
Institute. For over 30 years William Marts has been a seeker of enlightenment, studying the Bible, Buddhism, The Bhagavad-Gita, Yoga, Martial Arts, philosophy, Scientology, Zen, psychology, New Thought, metaphysics, philosophy, various world religions, the human emotional response, and sound/light technology. In mid October 1995, he had an intense divine experience that lasted three days and subsequent contacts with the Archangel, Gabriel, who continued relating the insights and revelations about the faculty of imagination and its relationship to emotions. This experience initiated the construction of the manuscript, "Imagintelligence: Beyond Emotional Intelligence," through divine guidance. |
With deep beliefs in
philanthropy and altruism, Mr. Marts has humbly conducted his personal ministry
toward helping all who have crossed his path.
After receiving The
Parable of the Coin, a short analogy that summarizes the teachings of the
world’s masters as related to the imaginings of man, he began to tell the
parable to everyone he met, giving each a quarter as a symbol.
Hundreds of people have been told the story and the majority who hear the
story claim that they will save their quarter forever.
Hundreds of printed copies of The Parable of the Coin are
distributed on holidays. It is also published on the internet with permission for
anyone to copy.
Known to some as “The
Electronic Guru,” Mr. Marts experiments with sound and
light machines that are capable of synthesizing the deep meditative states of
Zen and yoga masters.
Mr. Marts’ research into imagery has led to him founding
The Imagination Institute, a personal ministry website on the internet committed
to compiling all the research and practices of positive imagery available today
along with his imagery research findings.
The primary goal
of The Imagination Institute is to distinguish the imagination as the primary
manifestation within the order of mental activity.

His personal mission is to call attention to what we dare to imagine.
The Secondary goal of
The Imagination Institute is researching the affect of our mental imagery by
correlation to emotion, moods, states of mind, and spiritual growth through the
elimination of negative imagery, no matter how subtle.
The development of Imagination
Control Therapy and Imagery Management are at the heart of Mr. Marts’
endeavors. This new approach to
physical and mental healing greatly improves the results of all techniques
developed in the fields of Visualization, Guided Imagery, Self/Help, Mental
Healing, Meditation and Affirmation, and imagery in general by focusing on
distinguishing our mental imagery as the first domino in our mental thought
processes. All practitioners of any
form of imagery can achieve greater results once this concept is ingrained
within the mind.
Research has shown
Imagination Control Therapy stops The Flight or Fight Response from initiating.
This simple technique changes a person from being reactive to proactive. It is, by far, the simplest way to intervene by choice into
The Stimulus/Response Effect of which so many of us seem so helpless.
Feeling that he
has been blessed with life’s greatest treasure, Mr. Marts is promoting his own
personal ministry, spreading this concept of the ability to find total peace
within The Kingdom of God that Jesus said is found within us.
Through divine
guidance Mr. Marts has put together the revelations he has received in his book,
Imagintelligence: Beyond Emotional Intelligence, The
Imagination Institute, and audiotapes to share this wonderful treasure with
mankind.
He
was invited to The International New Thought Alliance’s 85th
Congress, 2000 to speak about Imagintelligence for The Society for the Study of
Metaphysical Religion.
